I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything in almost two weeks, no longer having nap time or time at home during the day to post anything and after the boys go to bed I’ve been working on making the boys Halloween costumes. It’s been a long time since I’ve sewn anything more complicated than a pillow case or button, so it’s been slow going. The weekends of course have been busy as usual.
We spent some time driving to look at all of the fall leaves and on a short hike. The boys are showing just how all boy they are while walking along the path we came across some construction equipment. The boys circled everything for a while, only Nicholas would hold still long enough for a photo.
At the top of the trail, the boys found rocks. Lots of rocks.
The boys of course insisted on making circles out of the rocks. We used the rocks in an attempt to get a group photo, wasn’t exactly successful.
On the way down the canyon the boys recognized the road and that we were going to be right by the zoo. It was a nice day, so we decided why not.
The boys are very insistent on how they wear their hats; Nicholas always has his on backwards, Parker wears his normally, and Andrew wears his slightly off center and pulled down in front to the point of us wondering if he can see.
Our weekdays still follow the normal playschool/work/gymnastics schedule. Not overly exciting, but never boring. This last Sunday we had planned to get updated photos of all of the kids (our boys and their cousins). The boys still do not want to look at the camera, but we had their aunt and uncle to help.
I’m happy with the results. Cody also got great pictures of the cousins, the amount of family resemblance between our boys and our nephew is uncanny. It’s like we get a preview of what everyone will look like in a few years.
