Thursday night we took the boys to the local patch to get some photos and look for some pumpkins. We didn’t stay long since we forgot the mosquito repellant and Cody was getting eaten alive. We were able to get one family shot before letting the boys run.
And run the boys did. This was so much easier last year when the boys were walking and fairly confident in their ability, but no one was running, especially not as fast as the boys can run now. In an effort to slow the boys down a little we asked them to hold hands.
It works sort of. The boys will line up, yell “1, 2, 3, go!” and take off running for about 20 feet. The stops only last about 3 seconds. At least its super cute.
We looked at a few pumpkins, very few.
Within 10 minutes the mosquitos were swarming, you could see clouds of them following people. We made a dash for the car. We’ll try again this week.
