Nap time

This is Nicholas taking a nap, something I’d like to see today. It has been a rough day with very little sleeping during nap time. Hopefully everyone will be back to normal tomorrow.

  1. Just precious!

Hi Lisa, it has been quite a while since I have been able to check in on your beautiful little men! Boy are they growing and they are so sweet!! You must be so thrilled with how the year has gone.

I to recently went back to work, after a one year maternity leave. William turned one last week and Emily turned seven. Time really does fly. It was very hard to go back to work and leave the kids. I am part time for now, but will be full time in two weeks. Unfortunately we have no choice when it comes to that.

Do you mind if I ask what your job is? I take it you work an afternoon type shift. Does Cody work a traditional day shift, five days a week? It certainly must have been a challenge to re-work your schedule. I can relate as my DH works an afternoon shift five days a week, so it is always just myself and the kids.

Your Christmas card photo was adorable!! I love it! It reminded me to ask if you received our Christmas card? I have never done a photo card before, but this past year I thought it was a great way to show off the kids and how much William has grown.

I love your playroom and feeding table!! I am sure it makes life a bit easier.

Your description of how the boys are crawling had me laughing!! Army crawl? I have to say I had never heard that term with regards to a baby before, but it sure sounded appropriate. My William never actually crawled. He scoots on his bum everywhere!! It is too funny!! He reminds me of a dog and boy is he fast!!! He has been walking around furniture now for several weeks and if he is like his sister at all, he will walk on his own soon.

I have to share this bit of cool news. I was able to take Emily and I to Disney World this past December, just the two of us. We had a short, but wonderful mommy and me type trip, while my DH stayed home with William. I missed them both, but it was great to spend some time with Emily at our favorite place on earth!!

Well, I will try to check in more often. It does get harder now to do anything on the computer now that I am back to work, but I am so glad I was to see your families growth. Nicholas, Andrew and Parker are just handsome!!

    Suz

  2. Sorry I'm slow to respond. I work in customer service for a wireless company, working Sundays and 3 nights a week after Cody is home.

We didn't receive your Christmas card, but I'm happy to hear you did get ours.

I hope you had a wonderful time on your mother/daughter trip. I can't wait to see Disney through our kids eyes.
